The 2022 International Alliance of Robotics Associations Summit was successfully held

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and robotics, robots are more and more integrated into human life. To accelerate the development of robotics and related industries and making robots better serve human society, on December 15, 2022, The 2022 International Alliance of Robotics Associations Summit was held in Xiaoshan Robot Town, Hangzhou, China. This Summit focused on the theme of " Robots Serve All Human Beings ". Discussion was around heated topics of artificial intelligence, digital technology, and the development and application of the robot industry. The Summit is host by International Alliance of Robot Organizations (IARA), co-hosted by the Administrative Committee of Xiaoshan Economic and Technological Development Zone (XETZ) and the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association (ZRIA), organized by Xiaoshan Robot Town, IARAC (IARA headquarter operation company), Hangzhou Digital Economy Union and Hangzhou Association of Automation, and supported by Hangzhou Association of Science and Technology, Yangtze River Delta Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperative Organization, and Yangtze River Delta Digital Economy Industry Alliance.

Prof. ZHANG Libin introduced that IARA is a non-profit organization and was co-founded by robotics organizations in nine countries in 2020. IARA currently has 12 members, and its mission and goals were to strengthen exchanges and cooperation among its members in the spirit of openness, innovation, mutual benefit, and win-win situation, to advance the development of the international robotics industry and technology, and to enable robots to better serve all of mankind.

 Xiaoshan Robot Town, where the headquarters of IARA is located, has put forward the ambitious goal of building a 2.0 upgraded version this year, which includes holding the World Robotics Competition, constructing an international robotics accelerator, an international robotics education and training (Hangzhou) center, a service robotics testing and certification center, an industrial brain of the robotics industry, and a robot street. Xiaoshan Robot Town is striving to make become an internationally renowned industrial park. Distinguished guests at the meeting pressed the start button for the construction of Xiaoshan Robotics Town 2.0 upgraded version.

After the opening ceremony, scholars and entrepreneurs in the field of robotics in China and abroad exchange views on the application of robots in intelligent manufacturing, healthcare and education and training.
